WebKote began as a passion project in 2022, born from a decade of experience as an RNZAF Armourer. My background in firearms and weapon systems fueled a fascination with the intricacies of disassembly and reassembly of anything technical. Despite regular maintenance, I noticed that the surface condition of most metal items would still deteriorate over time. This inspired me to explore coating solutions for my own firearms and equipment.

Word quickly spread among colleagues and friends, leading to an increasing demand for my services, this was the inspiration to start offering coatings elsewhere. Now having completed several hundred coatings, WebKote has grown from a hobby into a dedicated business, providing specialised coating services to enhance and protect a wide range of items.
